Contest Time!

I've finally managed to put together some ideas for a contest. Forgive how rough it seems so far, but if any questions are asked, I will answer accordingly and post the question in this journal as well, so there are no confusions.

Okay. Everyone loves prizes, so let's get those out of the way first, okay?

And now for the topics/themes that we will be allowing. It's rather varied, and I chose a few out of the numerous topics suggested. So have fun thinking up things to go with these!

TOPICS (yes, we have multiple topics--this can also be viewed as a list of things allowed--PLEASE INCLUDE IN YOUR DEVIATION DESCRIPTION):

Winter. This can including anything from Christmas to just a plain snowball fight--after all, not all of us celebrate Christmas, but we all know the basics of winter and the fun and cheer that comes along with it. Feel free to go all out here!

Anime crossovers. This was suggested by an anonymous deviant  who apparently decided to convince me by using the "Wouldn't it be great if we have Attack on Titan and Hetalia crossovers?" approach... Needless to say it worked. And when I say "crossover", you don't have to have characters from both anime, as many people seem to think they should. Simply include obvious elements from both anime. Say... if you were to do an SnK and Hetalia crossover, could Italy play in the role of Eren (maybe not)? Could Romano be Mikasa (... probably not). That kind of crossover. But Hetalia characters should still be present and at the centre of focus! So you can go anywhere with this: Hetalia with SnK, Ouran High School Host Club, Black Butler, Bleach, etc, etc... the possibilities are endless.

Realistic Hetalia. Basically, what Hetalia characters would be like in the real world--not the happy, bouncy walking stereotypes they are in the anime. I'm talking about what they would be like when handling their countries, their peoples, negotiating with other countries, attending meetings, and even fighting wars. All those stressful things. This will be a fun one to play with. I am not talking about realism in an art sense. I am talking about real life and the daily activity and interaction among mature, sensible adults--representatives of an entire nation.

So think on that one.

Things Allowed, AKA... a List of Rules To Go By.:

Drawings. Digital or traditional, I'm fine with either one.
Fanfiction. Need I specify more? (And yes, reader inserts are allowed. Whether they be first, second, or third person.)
Multiple themes. You can combine two or even all three of them if you want!
Cosplay. Should be decent quality, though.
Blood and gore is allowed, but no MA-rated content.
Must be rated K-T. Content must be appropriate.
Nyotalia, or any AU, really. But if you're making Dark!Hetalia, please label it accordingly and not as 2P!Hetalia. Because those really aren't the same.
FUN is allowed. Fun is most definitely allowed here.

Things NOT Allowed:

OLD ENTRIES. They must be created after November 13th and should have the name of the group and the statement: "This entry is for the November-December contest." Feel free to link to this journal in your description.
Motivational posters, stamps, and crafts are not allowed (as we're looking for only writing and visual items.)
MMD is not allowed. Why? Because I have experience in MMD myself, and I can tell you posing a character and adding some lights in the background is not hard. Plus, you have a premade program doing most of the work for you, and all of it is crudely model-based. So I have to say no.
Any form of interactive games are not allowed (because not everyone has experience in coding).
No MA-rated content. People in Fanfiction.net get away with this rule all the time, but we will be going over these submissions, posting a group voting, and posting them in the final contest results publicly. So please make them appropriate.
